If you have a direct booking with us, we would greatly appreciate that you reconfirm your booking with us a month before your stay. Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic and the planned reductions in air traffic to Barbados, it may be that your original flight date is not available. If you've booked through a tour operator or travel agent, we recommend that you contact them for the reconfirmation of your travel plans. Rest assured we are here and happy to help you adjust your stay dates accordingly.
We require all guests to use our ADVANCED CHECK-IN SERVICE prior to arrival, to assist with reducing the length of the check in process, and also to reduce contact for our teams on arrival as possible.
When the island reopened to commercial aircraft from July 12th 2020, National Protocols were put in place in order to protect it's citizens and visitors alike. Please ensure that you are aware of the Barbados travel protocols and ensure that you monitor them regularly in case of any changes. BARBADOS GOVERNMENT TRAVEL PROTOCOLS
We are happy to advise that South Beach Hotel has been inspected by the Ministry of Health and has been approved as a "Designated and Approved Hotel" to accept guests from high-risk countries. Guests must stay on property and will be able to enjoy facilities of the property with restricted access prior to the confirmation of a negative result of their mandatory second test. Please read our Restricted Access Protocols below.
There is a local polyclinic in Oistins called Randall Phillips Polytechnic where tests are available for free. An appointment must be made in advance.
Alternatively, for your convenience, our sister hotel Sea Breeze Beach House is a satellite location for testing however each test will incur a charge of US $175 per person. An appointment must be made in advance with their front desk. Test results can take between 24 - 48 hrs after testing.
All guests should note the below:
- As of January 2021 the UK, Canada and the USA may require a negative PCR test to re-enter the country.
- A vaccine certificate does not preclude you from following all government or hotel protocols

COVID 19 WORRY FREE POLICY
Should you or anyone in your party be diagnosed with COVID 19 prior to the start of your holiday or during your holiday, Ocean Hotels agrees to provide a voucher for any unused days. Medical or airline documentation required for confirmation. Terms and Conditions apply. Should you be quarantined or self -isolating within your room or on the property this policy would not apply.
