The Location

South Beach is located in the heart of the south coast of the Barbados, directly across from the ever popular Accra Beach, South Beach is in within walking distance to an abundance of activity such as restaurants, shops, bars, nightlife and not to mention all kinds of beach activity.

Accra Beach

Also known as Rockley Beach, Accra is a very popular south coast beach that is perfect for swimming, catching waves or just lounging the day away. Beach chairs are available for rent and if you get there early you can get a nice spot under a shady casuarina or sea-grape tree. Accra offers plenty of activities such as windsurfing, boogey boarding & surfing as well as sailing and snorkeling. Local clothing, crafts and jewelry are available for sale in vendor kiosks.

Shops

Quayside is a shopping centre located directly next door to South Beach, which offers a convenience store where you can stock up on any essentials that you need for your stay. Quayside also has a gift shop, surf shop, boutique, coffee shop, pastry shop, New York pizza and a Chinese restaurant.

Board Walk

The South Coast Boardwalk starts at the western end of Accra Beach and goes for approximately one kilometer. The boardwalk runs directly parallel with the shoreline and is great for walking, jogging or just sitting and enjoying the incredible views and sunsets.

Fusion

Located on the ground floor at South Beach is Fusion restaurant and lounge, Fusion specializes in Thai, Japanese and Cantonese cuisine. The ambiance is elegant, contemporary and sophisticated. Guests can choose from the more formal indoor restaurant or the casual outdoor alfresco space. Our chef’s are masters of their cuisine having grown up and trained in the home country of their food. Cheffette

Located right next door to South Beach is Cheffette. Think of Cheffette as the McDonalds of Barbados, except that Bajans eat allot more chicken than beef. Try the broasted chicken sandwich, all beef roti or the fried chicken.

Just Grillin

Located in Quayside right next door to South Beach is Just Grillin, which is a favorite eating spot for locals and tourists alike. Just grilling is open air and features delicious fresh food, such as a Jerk chicken Cesar salad, grilled fish and chicken sandwiches. The Dolphin catch with coleslaw and vegetables is highly recommended.

New York Pizza

Satisfy your pizza cravings at New York Pizza, conveniently located in Quayside, right next to South Beach.

Champers

Champers is located in a quiet lane just 5 minutes from South Beach by foot. Champers is situated on a beautiful cliff-top setting that overlooks Accra Beach and has incredible panoramic views. Alive and vibrant Caribbean design and atmosphere, Champers offers the romance of a waterside dining Gazebo, `bubbly fun` in its downstairs area or the enhanced elegance of its spacious dining room upstairs. Both dining areas in the main building have their own lounge and bar.
